We do not make objects. We decide which ones deserve the room.
Swave is a curatorial house, not a factory. Everything here is sourced, reissued or commissioned from makers who were already doing the work correctly. Nothing is invented to fill a gap in a catalogue. The taste is the product — the objects are simply where it becomes visible.
Selection happens slowly and in person. A piece enters a season only when it behaves properly in a real apartment after dark: when the light it throws is motivated, when the surface holds up under a low lamp, when it still reads well on the fourth month rather than the first evening.
Each season is finite by design — produced or acquired once, and closed when it's gone. What follows isn't a restock. It's the next season: a different room, a different set of decisions.
This is not for people discovering the era. It is for the ones who never left it, who already know what a machine is supposed to sound like at three in the morning, and who would rather own three correct objects than thirty approximate ones.
